Tea Time

Early Childhood Family Center

Early Childhood and Family options are provided at the Family Center for children between birth and 4 years of age, and their parents / caregivers. Children develop social skills, language development, gross and fine motor skills, gain independence, and build self-confidence while participating in our themed playgroups. We offer free daily-themed series including dance, art, nature, music, and activities involving gross motor skills. Participants also obtain community resource connections, access to ASQ (Ages and Stages Questionnaire) tool, assistance with transition to pre-school, free books, performances, field trips, as well as opportunities to attend parent education workshops offered. The playgroup program is currently only open to New London residents. Contact Tina Salcedo or call (860) 447 - 0459 to learn more.
